Augustine Leon Soto Obituary (1957 - 2022)

Our beloved Augustine (Gus/Guero) Soto of Brawley passed awayat the age of 64 years young. He was born in Mexicali, BC Mexico on December 15. 1957. Gus was an Agriculture Salesman for 20+ years and shortly after he worked at Costco for about 8 years. He later worked at Day Out for a short amount of time and medically retired. Working at each job he always found a way to make special friendships. One of his passions he later developed was wood crafting and drawing. He never gave up when it came to making the "perfect" drawing of flames whether it be on a piece of paper or on his black 70's Chevy Silverado. He is preceded in death by his parents Agustin and Socorro Soto, his siblingsSamuel(Eva) Soto, Maria S. Hirales, and brother-in-law Rudy Peraza. He is survived by his siblings, Greg(Lupe) Soto, Aurelia Peraza, Joe Soto, and Vicky(Gabe) Hernandez. He had numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. His services will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley, CA starting at 9 a.m. including viewing and mass. Burial will be immediately following atRiverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA.
