Balwant Singh Dhaliwal Obituary (1953 - 2022)

Mr. Balwant Singh Dhaliwal, a devoted loving father of three daughters and a dedicated husband, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 years-old in El Centro, CA on Monday April 25, 2022.From his birthplace in Mallah, India, Mr. Balwant Singh Dhaliwal immigrated to El Centro, CA in 1978 where he resided with his loving family for the past 44 years. He worked for the County of Imperial Public Works Department as Survey Technician for 13 years. He was a faithful member of the Sikh Temple in El Centro, CA. He loved to spend time in his garden, growing fruits and vegetables, sharing the bounty with friends and family. On his spare time, he loved to read the Popular Mechanics magazine and the latest on radio technology. Balwant Singh Dhaliwal was a vibrant, honest, gracious, kind, and good-natured father, husband, and friend who brought a smile to the face of everyone he met. We are thankful to God for giving us Mr. Balwant Singh Dhaliwal, who lived his life with such great resilience and fortitude, to know and love during this earthly journey.Mr. Balwant Singh is survived by his beloved wife Ravinder Kaur Dhaliwal; and loving daughters Kudratdeep Kaur Dhaliwal, Akashdeep Kaur Dhaliwal and Kismatdeep Kaur Dhaliwal of El Centro, CA; Mother Surjit Kaur Dhaliwal; Brother Daljit Singh Dhaliwal; Sisters Parmjit Kaur and Swarn Kaur.Services will be held Sunday, May 15, from 9 A.M to 11:00 A.M. at Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley, CA, officiated by Garanthi Jaswant Singh of the Sikh Temple in El Centro.Religious prayers will be held at the Sikh Temple in El Centro, CA on Sunday May 15, at 11:30 A.M. All community members who knew and loved Mr. Balwant Singh Dhaliwal are welcome to attend.
