Billie Hale Obituary (1938 - 2022)

Billie Lee Hale, 84, of Imperial CA passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, of congestive heart failure. Billie dedicated his life to serving God and following Jesus Christ which he felt was his calling to minister to all he came in contact with.Billie joined the army at a young age and served for three years. He was stationed in South Korea during the Korean War. Billie went on to work for the Imperial Irrigation District and remained there for 40 years as a superintendent. After he retired from the IID, he remained with them as a consultant. After leaving the Army Billie married Gloria Silva and they had four children together. As a family they enjoyed many trips to the dessert and enjoyed four wheeling with other family members and friends. Billie also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.Billie was preceded in death by his wife Gloria Diane Hale, his son Robert Earl Hale, his grandson Ryan Michael Hale, his brother George Kendall and mother Pauline Kendall.Billie is survived by his three children, Mark Anthony Hale, David Michael Hale, and Elaine Marie Cassel. Grandchildren Christopher Cassel, Regina Hale and Kameren Leigh Hale. Great Grandchild Athea Rose Hale-Peterson. Brother Donald Hale and a number of sister in-laws, nieces, and nephews.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Christ Community Church on Orange Ave in El Centro CA.
