Bruce Kenneth Foster Obituary (1960 - 2021)

Bruce K. Foster was born June 21, 1960, in Inglewood, CA to Jerry and Donna Miller. At the age of 6, his family moved to the Imperial Valley where he resided for the majority of his lifetime. He graduated from Imperial High School in 1978. He attended Imperial Valley College where he earned his degree in Computer Science and dedicated nearly 30 years in the IT industry. In 1984 and 1986 respectively, he welcomed his sons Steven and Brian. In 1997, he met Karla and her daughter Vivian. After a few years of dating, Bruce and Karla married in April of 2001. Besides spending time with his family; Bruce enjoyed traveling, riding his motorcycle, listening to music, and cooking. He was incredibly smart and continuously learning, always reading about new things. He could pretty much build or fix anything himself, he was beyond talented; simply a jack of all trades. All those who knew Bruce would know that he had a very unique personality and a particularly dry sense of humor. Nevertheless, he was the most caring, thoughtful, and loving husband, father, and son. There is no doubt that he will be dearly missed. Bruce was truly one of a kind. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Donna, and stepfather Byron. He is survived by his loving wife, Karla; sons, Steven and Brian; daughter, Vivian; brother, Brian; and granddaughters, Essi and Reign.
