Celestina Reyes Obituary (1939 - 2022)

Celestina "Maggie" Reyes was 83 years old, born on April 6, 1939 to Marcos and Jesus Reyes of Brawley. Maggie resided in a residential group home in Imperial managed by Arc Imperial Valley. Every day, Maggie enjoyed participating in activities provided by Arc Imperial Valley. Maggie enjoyed a lot of things in her life and some of her favorites were eating tacos, drinking Diet Coke, getting her nails polished, dancing, listening to music, especially Spanish songs (and she would sing to them too). She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Felice Avila, Manuel Reyes, Socorro Navarro, Flora Reyes and Ascencion Reyes. She is survived by her sibling Ruben Reyes and numerous nieces and nephews.Services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Sacred Heart Parish in Brawley with a viewing at 8:30 am, a Rosary at 9 am followed by Mass at 10:00 am. Interment at Riverview Cemetery will immediately follow the Mass.We would like to gratefully give special appreciation to Arc Imperial Valley to all the staff that were a part of Maggie's daily life and activities, especially when she started living in an Arc Residential Home.
