Corey T Castillo Obituary (1973 - 2022)

On September 23 2022, Heaven gained another angel. Corey Castillo age 49, gained his forever wings. Corey was born June 24 1973, in San Bernardino Ca. Corey moved to El Centro Ca in 1994. In 1995 he joined the California Department of Corrections where he dedicated 27 years working at Centinela State Prison. Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents Mary Castillo and Trinidad Castillo and uncle Edward (Eddie) Ramon Castillo. He is survived by his mother Rita Farrugia and her spouse Joe Farrugia, his brother Rorey Nichols and his kids Mary and Jesse, his fiance Ida Godoy, and 5 children, Amelya, Juan, Corey, Alyssa, Eliana. Corey enjoyed life by spending time with his family and playing golf with his buddies. He loved grilling and cooking for his family. He will always be remembered for his crazy sense of humor and story telling. Corey was kind he had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand and Although he may no longer be with us, he will be in our hearts where he will remain forever.
