At the age of 77, David was diagnosed with lung cancer but despite his battle with his health in recent years, he showed nothing but courage and dignity in facing life's challenges straight on and head held high. Despite the pain, David came out a hero, stayed strong and fought until the very end.David was predeceased by his mother Maria Dolores Marquez, 2 sisters Maria de Jesus Duran and Martha Campos, wife Gloria Marquez and grandchild Melissa Marquez Bustos.
