Ernestina Lira Obituary (1956 - 2022)

Ernestina Lira, age 65, of Brawley passed away June 9, 2022 in Brawley surrounded by her loved ones. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Ernestina was born on November 11, 1956 in Zacatecas, Mexico to Sotero and Teresa Parilla. She came to live in the United States along with her family 40 years ago.She is preceded in death by Sotero Parilla (Father), Teresa Parilla (Mother) and Valentina Lira (Daughter). She is survived by Juan Lira (Huband), her children, Juan Lira Jr., Jose Luis Lira, Veronica Lira, Griselda Lira and her grandchild, Blanca Aldaz.My mother was a great woman and worked very hard as a laborer alongside my father. She succeeded in raising good children. She loved flowers from her garden & her dogs. My father would bring her flowers everyday and she received them with a wonderful smile. Her children will miss her wholeheartedly. May she rest in peace & look upon us from heaven as our guardian angel.Visitation will be held Monday, June 27, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Frye Chapel & Mortuary in Brawley, CAGraveside Services for Ernestina Lira will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 9:00 AM at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA
