Ernesto (Ernie) Ruan Otero, 74, of Westmorland, CA, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Ernie was born in Westmorland, CA, to parents Rosario Otero and Rosario Ruan on January 28,1949. In 1990, he married his second wife, Rosalinda Otero, who preceded him in death. He was a dedicated, kind-hearted man, known for his unwavering positivity and willingness to help. He cherished time with family and friends, creating lasting memories. Ernie leaves behind a legacy of love and is survived by his children, Rosalia Otero, Gloriana Canales, Vani Gomez and Joseph Otero; siblings, Jessie Garza, Luis R.Otero, Fernando R. Otero, Juan Otero, Mario Otero, Roberto Otero, Rosalva Agundez, Teresa Pereda, Margarita Vera, Argelia Ortiz and Matilde Carmona; grandchildren, Kaylani, Richard,Takari, Abbie, and Viani.
