Filiberto Anaya Obituary (1933 - 2022)

Filiberto Meda Anaya 8/21/1933 - 1/27/2022 at the age of 88 years young (as he would say). Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather passed peacefully in Brawley, CA. Filiberto was born in Santa Barbara, Jalisco, MX to Leon and Fernanda Anaya, the youngest of 8 children. In his early teen years, he moved to California and had a great career for many years as a foreman, and retired at the age of 53! He spent the last 23 + years in the Imperial Valley, with Brawley being his final residence. He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Emma Anaya, and 5 children; sons Gilbert, Aldo, and David Anaya whom all live in the state of Missouri, and daughters Fernanda Anaya and Yolanda Anaya Mates both in CA. He had 11 grandchildren: Robert, Raymond, Melissa, Melodie, Lauren, Lorenzo, Aldo Jr., Alberto, Jasmine, Kaleb, and Gabriel, and 5 great-grandchildren: Dominik, Jaelyn, Madelyn, Aalijah and Andreas Extended Family: All of Emma's Children and grandchildren who were able to enjoy 20+ years of life with Filiberto.
