Gilbert Vallarta March 6, 1952 ~ May 7, 2023 In Loving memory of Gilbert Vallarta, who passed away on May 7, 2023 at the age of 71 years old. He was born on March 6, 1952 in Brawley, CA. He grew up in Brawley attended and graduating from Brawley Union High School. He went on to attend The Associated Barber College in San Diego. After obtaining his barber license, he became a highly skilled and successful barber. He became the owner of Vallarta's Barbershop, following his father's footsteps. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and creating unforgettable memories and adventures with his friends. He could be found playing golf or engaged in an intense game of horseshoes. He loved the elegance low riders and the great atmosphere at car shows. He married Rosa Molina in September of 1979. Following their marriage, God blessed them with three loving children Mindy, Wendy and Gilbert Jr. Three grandchildren Ozryk, Cito, and Gia. He is survived by his wife Rosa, Children Mindy, Wendy and Gilbert Jr., grandchildren Ozryk, Cito, and Gia., siblings; Linda, Elsa, Rudy. He was preceded in death by his father Salvador Vallarta and Mother Maria Garcia. Services will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley, CA. The viewing will be held at 8:30 am., rosary at 10:00 am., and Mass at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA. We would like to say thank you to friends and family who have supported the family during this difficult time.
