Jannelle Ayanna Sanchez Obituary (2001 - 2022)

Jannelle Ayanna Sanchez- loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend- passed away on Saturday June 25, 2022 at the age of 20. Jannelle was born on November 11, 2001 in Brawley, CA to Linda and Raul Sanchez. After someone's passing, it can be easy to overstate the fact that they brought happiness to everyone around them. For Jannelle this cannot be overstated as this really was her life and personality- bringing happiness and smiles to anyone lucky enough to spend any time with her. Jannelle's passions all involved her love of life: reading her favorite books, listening to her versatile music tastes (Harry Styles, Frank Ocean, The Beatles, Bad Bunny, Rihanna and so much more), or gaming on her PC. Of these passions, gaming made the biggest impact on her life as she looked forward everyday to interacting with her friends.At age 16 Jannelle was diagnosed with Leukemia and her battle was a lesson in bravery and tenacity. Not only was Jannelle able to overcome this challenge, but she was able to graduate from Brawley Union High School the following year along with her peers, even going on to IVC to continue her education. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at St. Margaret Mary Church in Brawley, CA with burial at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, CA following the mass.
