LEITTA 'LORETTA' SMITHSEPTEMBER 1, 1942-JANUARY 31, 2022On January 31st 2022 Leitta 'Loretta' Smith,79, of Brawley CA, moved to her Heavenly home. Loretta was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.Loretta was born in Eucha Oklahoma September 1st, 1942. She got married to her high school love, Willis 'Bud' Smith in 1959. They were married for a glorious 52 years.After moving to Brawley CA in 1968 she dedicated her life to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Having RP all her life, she still accomplished getting a degree in child care and ran her own licensed daycare. She also owned and ran her own trophy business. All the mean while dedicating her life to the word of God.Loretta loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God's Word. Though she was a humble, gentle woman, Loretta was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior, and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family, her friends, and the world at large. Her goal in life was to teach the truth so we can all one day enter the gates of heaven.Preceded in death by her husband Bud Smith, great grandchild Adina Smith, sisters: Nancy Jennings and Wanda Brixey. Brothers: Gene Mead, Amos Mead, and Buddy Mead. Her parents: Amos Mead and Jessie Bryson Mead.Loretta is survived by her children; Randy Smith(wife Becky), Tony Smith(wife Karen), Steve Smith(wife Lenor). 12 grandchildren: Steven Lee, Matthew, Philip, Nathan, Daniel, Adam, Zachariah, Steven Andrew, Rebekah, Jordan, Jesse, Candelario. 9 great grandchildren: Deven Lee, Paiten, Ayden, Brody, Mason,Kaden, Machenzie, Marco and Stephanie. Brother: Rusty Mead. Numerous nephews and nieces that loved her so much.Graveside service will be held on March 5th, 9:00 a.m at Brawley Riverview Cemetery. Following, there will be a celebration of life at Apostolic Assembly of Faith in Christ Jesus at 1230 J Street in Brawley, CA.
