Marvin Dwayne Peek Obituary (1952 - 2022)

Marvin "Dwayne" Peek, 70, passed on August 22, 2022. He was born to Thelma Stamper in Blythe, California on June 28, 1952. Prior to moving to the Imperial Valley in the 1980's he was divorced and had two children, Amanda and Jeremy. He married Lisa Ewing (Peek) and they lived together in Holtville, California. Together they raised 4 children Cory (Erin), Kellen (Sarah), Austen (Chanel), Kyle (Ashley) He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Addison, Lisa, Aleah, Eva, Aspyn, and Carter three sisters, Sheila, Brenda, and Susie His wife Lisa passed away in 2004 and never remarried. Dwayne worked extremely hard throughout his life, mostly in farming and construction, and enjoyed being outdoors as much as possible. At home you would find him tending to his yard he kept in pristine condition, or raising game birds in his back yard. Dwayne had a passion for cooking, often cooking large meals for school fundraisers, the Elks Lodge, and for family and friends. Dwayne loved spending time in San Felipe, Mexico, where he and his family spent nearly all of their free time when his children were young. Service will be held on Wednesday September 7, 2022 at 11:00 am at Frye Chapel and Mortuary, 338 West Aten Road, Imperial Ca, 92251.
