Tesoro Anderson Obituary (1944 - 2022)

TESORO ANDERSON a.k.a Maria Teresa Salcido of Imperial, California, our Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, stepped into eternity on January 9th, 2022. She went to sleep and woke up in the arms of Her loving Heavenly Father, the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, and met her SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST face to face. She was welcomed with great joy and a glorious celebration by the Angels of Heaven and by all Her loved ones who preceded Her. She is alive forevermore in Her Heavenly dwelling. Praise be to Jesus. Tesoro Anderson, aka, Maria Teresa Salcido Zamora, was born in Hermosillo, Sonora on February 15, 1944. "Sonora Querida" as she would call her land of birth. Tesoro birthed and raised 7 children of her own, 2 Daughters and 5 Sons, and for a season, she also raised a grandson, some nephews and nieces and cared for many foster children during her life. She is survived by all Her children, Leticia, Jose, Lupe, Alexander, Ruben, Jorge, Ramon, whom she loved, raised and cared for with all her heart; she is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 5 Daughters-in-law, 1 Son-in-law, several Sisters, and many nephews and nieces. Tesoro was always full of love for her children, her loved ones and everyone else. In the absence of Her husband and after His passing, she never remarried, but dedicated her whole life to raising her children and to being there for them, always praying for them and for each of their families.As a God-fearing Christian Woman of God, she was always a prayer warrior, totally dependent on God; a woman who persevered under the most difficult times and circumstances and always with a hopeful expectation because of Her trust in God; she truly was a General of the faith. She was a Mentor, a counselor, generous at heart, happy and always ready to give an uplifting word of encouragement, life, joy, and always believed the best in all those who were part of Her life. She deposited vision, hope, purpose, seeds of faith, fear of God, goals, greatness in all her children, which has given fruit in so many ways. She raised children who have impacted society in many ways, and who hold respectable roles in their communities; and some have impacted the nations, locally and globally, as Christian ministers, through various God-given Ministries. Mom also instilled in us, Her children, the respect and honor and fear of God... and yes, of Mom too, which is such a blessing to all Her children. "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Proverbs 31:29.By her example, She has inspired so many lives, and Her legacy which she, the Matriarch, started will live on and continue for many generations to come; Her legacy in and through all her children, her descendants and through all those she touched with Her life and Her God-given mission. Though we know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, Tesoro, Mom, will be extremely missed by all her loved ones. She will forever live in our hearts. Mom, you have fought the good fight, you have finished your race, your mission is accomplished, now you receive your crown of glory. We love you with all our heart and will forever love you and miss you, our Beautiful Tesorito! "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
