Vance George Mallory

November 28, 1952-September 26, 2022

Vance Mallory passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2022. He is survived by his heart-broken family, pets, and countless friends.

Vance was born on November 28, 1952 in Brawley, CA. He grew up appreciating the great outdoors and natural beauty of the desert. He spent countless hours with his beloved wife, sons, friends, and dogs hiking and exploring their surroundings. He was a dedicated, hardworking partner in Mallory and Sons farming business.

Vance was humble, selfless, loyal, kind, and deeply spiritual. He devoted countless hours in many capacities at the Westmorland Community Presbyterian Church-as an Elder, Deacon, and a servant to everybody around him. He especially enjoyed volunteering at the Westmorland Community Food Pantry every Thursday evening. He always took initiative in helping others, not seeking praise or credit. Vance would give anyone in need the shirt off his back.

Vance deeply loved his family and created many wonderful memories throughout the years. He was an avid classical musical enthusiast. If you ever saw a farmer playing classical music from his truck, spoiling his dogs with some drive-thru hamburgers, then you knew it was Vance.

Vance is survived by his
Loving wife of 35 years, Anne

Sons Evan and Rob along with their wives Monica and Jen.

He enjoyed being "Pop-Pop" to his precious grandchildren Reagan and Grey Overstreet.

Parents, George and Marie Mallory of Brawley and JoAnne Fleming of Rancho Mirage.

Sister-in-law Nancy Johnson and her five children whom he thought of as his own Mariann, Eleanor, Allison, Hanna, and Anthony Nilson and their families.

Brothers-in-law David and Frank Johnson

Two stepsisters Patty Angulo and Ginger McNees

Beloved nieces and nephews Marty and Andy McNees, Tricia and Stacy Angulo and their families.

Vance was preceded in death by his brother Brian Mallory, and niece Gina Dayton.

Services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11 AM at the Westmorland Community Presbyterian Church and will be officiated by Rev. Janice Cook.

If you would like to donate in Vance's honor, either the Westmorland Community Presbyterian Church or Westmorland Community Food Pantry are places where he dedicated his heart and soul.
