Connie Zendejas

Connie Ann Zendejas, 50, of Calipatria, California passed away on April 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Connie was born on January 5, 1976 in Brawley, California.

Connie was a devoted wife to her husband, Jeff Zendejas, whom she shared 31 years of marriage. Connie was a loving mother to her three daughters, Cynthia, Mariah, and Audrey, who were the center of her world. She also leaves behind her loving parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, her brother, her brothers- and sisters-in-law, and many extended family members who will cherish her memory. She built her life around caring for others, always putting family first and creating a home filled with warmth, strength, and compassion.

Connie had a special gift for connecting with people—whether through her work, her love of selling jewelry, or simply offering a listening ear and kind words. Connie devoted 27 years of dedicated service to Zendejas Hardware, leaving a lasting impact on colleagues and a welcoming smile to all who came through its doors.

She cherished time spent with family and friends, bringing people together with thoughtful gatherings, memorable celebrations, and her gift for turning any occasion into something warm and festive.

She was especially passionate about supporting others in their fight against cancer, offering encouragement and hope to those who needed it most.

A woman of strong Catholic faith, Connie carried her beliefs with quiet grace and resilience. She lived by her favorite saying, “Hope, Faith, Strength,” words that reflected the way she faced life’s challenges and uplifted those around her.

Connie will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and the deep love she had for her family and community. Her spirit will live on in all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Cancer Resource Center of the Desert, in honor of Connie’s commitment to supporting those affected by cancer.
