Marco Moreno

–

Calipatria , California

Marco Moreno, a wonderfully compassionate, loving, and loyal soul was born on July 12, 1989, in Watsonville, California. True to his heart, Marco was a beacon of laughter and love, and his ability to bring joy and comfort to those around him was truly remarkable. His infectious humor, combined with a genuine love for people, made him an unforgettable presence in every room.

Marco moved from Watsonville to Gilroy, eventually settling from Brawley to Calipatria, California. Throughout his journey, he held various roles, but his most cherished job was being a cashier in the retail industry. He found great satisfaction in his work, greeting every customer with a warm smile and a friendly conversation. Marco's love for soccer was second only to his love for his powerful God & family. He spent countless hours playing the sport he loved, but nothing brought him more joy than spending quality time with his beloved family. His home was always filled with the mouthwatering aroma of his home-cooked meals, the laughter of his family, and the beautiful art projects he created with his children. His children saved him and kept him going forward in life . Marco not only was a God fearing loving man but he would go to hell and back for his family , his wife and his babies . They were his world . His family that he made was his everything to him . I , his wife and mother to his children will always love him forever and miss him everyday . From the first time we met at church in holtville , I remember when you and my dad were both in the men’s recovery home and you were a resident , my dad mentioned how he always liked you and how you carried yourself and how you were very respectful and very polite and just a down to the earth guy . My dad would say “hey mija if you ever got married I would want you to be with a guy like him , he’s a good guy “ he would tell me … and me not thinking anything of it Id blow it off like “yeah dad you’re crazy “ until one day you and my dad were talking and he got to know more about you and he asked you if you had a wife and kids and you replied no . You said to my dad “if I were to ever get married, I would marry an Asian chick “ My dad replies “ Well you know my daughters Asian “ I remember my dad telling me that he asked my mom to show you pictures of me on my Facebook and when he did , my dad said your eyes opened up so huge and you called me beautiful and I never expected months later we would even have one conversation because you were so shy and quiet, so shy to talk to me but I would catch you staring most times during family day haha . Forward to being boyfriend and girlfriend who were crazy and madly in love with eachother than getting married and welcoming our first born son to the world in 2018 on May 13th lil Marco Angelo Moreno who is now 7 and 2 years later we welcomed our second born child but first born daughter to the world in 2020 on April 11th lil Priscilla Laila Moreno . A couple of months after our daughter was born , my mother passed away to Covid 19 and my heart was devastated since and you were my rock through that hardship of losing my mom but never did I expect to lose you now 6 years after … Even though I know you’re reunited up there with eachother and watching over me & the kids , it still hurts me inside that this is my new reality . You were such a great loving devoted husband to me as I was to you and I will forever be to you . But also you were such a loving devoted father to our babies . My heart breaks that our lil Marco Angelo and Priscilla Laila won’t ever understand or know why you’re gone or never coming back . That’s a heartbreak not only to me as your wife but to raise your babies , our babies alone in this world without you .But one thing I can promise you my love is that I’ll do my best to be strong and resilient and to go forward in life and do what I have to do for our children . I love you always and forever my Marco , until we meet again .
