SARA ANNABELLE BENAVIDES November 12, 2003 May 30, 2022It is with profound sadness that the Benavides family announces the untimely passing of Sara Annabelle Benavides on May 30th at the age of 18 years old.Sara was born on November 12th, 2003. She lived the entirety of her far too short life in Brawley, CA. Sara adored her family, and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Growing up, Sara was called a mama's girl because she never wanted to leave her mom's side. She was a fantastic Tia and older cousin and the younger members in the family always sought her out. She would play with them, watch movies with them, post pictures of them on social media, and loved to do their hair. Sara loved fashion, and she would always make sure that she and her mom went out looking their best. She was smart, kind, outgoing, and loving. She had dreams of one day becoming a Social Worker, which is a reflection of her selflessness and the love she had in heart.She is survived by her grieving family which includes her parents, Abel and Mirna Benavidessiblings Mayra, Angie, Abel Jr., Daniel, Jimmy, Antonio and FabianNieces Tatyanna, Eva, Alessandra, Savannah and Aaliyah; Nephews Daniel and AndrewGrandmother Aida HernandezMany tias, tios and cousins.She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, and uncle.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for financial assistance for the services.
